New Tile
Properly built gunite swimming pools should have a 6” frost proof tile around the perimeter of the pool. This tile is not only there for aesthetic purposes but it protects the plaster from exposure to the air. The pool plaster is intended to be submerged in properly balanced pool water. Prolonged exposure to the air can cause discoloration and cracking. When the waterline rests on the tile it also prevents a water stain from appearing on the plaster. Our in-house experts intricately install glass mosaics and custom tile to your gunite pool or spa. New Plumbing Systems
Many swimming pools built 10+ years ago were plumed with small diameter flex hose pipe. Most of these systems have a row of returns plumbed in line one after another.
Our balanced loop plumbing systems are plumbed with large 21/2” or 3” suction lines and 2” return lines. We also use scheduled 40 ridged pvc pipe with as few fittings as possible. The ridged pipe unlike the flex hose will last for decades in the ground without pitting or deteorating and starting to leak below your patio. Our balanced loop plumbing system provides the same amount of pressure at each return which more effectively skims the surface of the pool and more efficiently filters the water.
Relocating or adding skimmers also increases efficiency and results in a cleaner healthier pool.
We use state of the art flush mount returns to blend seamlessly into your plaster to avoid the white standout plastic alternatives.
New State of the Art pool equipment
All of our new pools & renovated pools are converted to what we call “smart pools” our customers can manage and operate their pools every function remotely from their smart phone, tablet or computer. Setting maintenance programs, trouble shooting and operating features such as landscape lights, lawn sprinklers, pool lights, pool and spa heaters & water features can all be done remotely with the touch of a button. Our technicians can also remotely diagnose, trouble shot and repair many problems with out the need to visit the site which saves our clients money on costly service calls.
We replace your pool equipment with Pentair state of the art pool components. Pentair’s variable speed pump is among the best in the industry and is designed to reduce your energy consumption up to 90% vs. traditional pumps. These pumps are also much quiter than your traditional pumps. New cartridge filters properly sized for your pool can greatly impact your water quality and efficiency.
New natural gas or propane heaters can efficiently heat your pool and extend your swim season.
Automatic Pool cleaners are added to automatically vacuum your pool while you are sleeping or at work. These units are plumbed into your pool equipment underground with ridged PVC so there are no plugs, transformers or hoses draped across the patio. They are programed to clean your pool automatically when you are not using it.
Auto fills are also added to our new pools and our renovated pools. These electronic devices are placed in the skimmer and will automatically add water to your pool. This eliminates the need to add fresh water with the hose saving you time and water.
Salt systems
No more mixing, measuring or messing with liquid or chlorine tablets. now you can automatically have the cleanest, softest and safest water possible. Our industry leading salt systems turn ordinary salt into a self re-generating supply of pure chlorine for your pool or spa. These systems can reduce your chlorine use by up to 50%
Pool surrounds
The final steps to your pool renovation are new patios, coping and a fresh landscape to provide privacy and color to your new outdoor oasis.
